Every year our family celebrates its annual reunion. Even though we see each other ones in a while its still an
event I really look forward to. It is not an ordinary reunion, we have guidelines
to follow. LOL. To explain the mechanics, every year there is a host family and
they have the power to choose what the theme will be. Last year my family
hosted it and “Oscars” was our theme. This year is very different, “Nayong
Pilipino slash “barrio Fiesta” was chosen. I being the trusted one was assigned
to decorate and somehow arrange the program. Hahaha. Eventually it worked out
well. Each family had to prepare a presentation
number and its either folk dance or singing a native song. It was a night full
of fun, excitement and most of all LOVE!
