it's vintage

July is almost over (for some people) but for me it's still a long way. Ok, let's get to the point, the main reason for this blog is to inform all of you that i was chosen as one of the hosts for our Departments Acquaintance party this coming July 31, 2013.

After weeks of voting, the officers of our department decided have this as our theme! Blast from the Past or vintage for short. I'm both excited and nervous. Dont worry i will post photos of the event!

Last Tuesday was a memorable day!We had our College General Assembly where i was one of the host then in the evening we had our Acquaintance party. As I've mentioned in my previews blog that the theme was Fun colors and it turned out to be more fun than the colors that night.

Of course, i took the theme literally. I wore my brothers long-sleeves paired it a yellow top and a vintage blue shorts. my socks are from Oxygen and shoes from SM men-shoes.

GAAP '13

First and for most, GAAP stands for General Assembly and Acquaintance Party! This is One of the events that Ive been looking forward to. Its because you can dress up and have fun during the Acquaintance party.

Just yesterday our Vice Governor of the Executive Council texted me. i was in the middle of my panic mode because it was our preliminary exam in statistics 32 that same afternoon. well he said it was something important so i went to him ASAP. And to my surprise, he informed me that i was chosen to be one of the host for the General Assembly. I don't know if it was a good news or a bad one. well, until now i still cant believe it. I mean the whole College will be there and i haven't been in a hosting position since forth year high school. So, all i have to do now is pray and practice. Don't worry i will post photos of booth the General Assembly and Acquaintance Party!

Despicable Me!

My cousins and I had our bonding last Friday. Since its Friday, we can have our bonding late. So we opted to watch the famous and most talked about movie, Despicable Me!

Before I watched the movie, i was really bothered why many of my classmates were so obsessed with the minions from the movie. Some even wanted to buy minion stuff toys. But after the movie, i became one of them.

They were the cutest ever! Now i am obsessed with Minions!

it's a first

On an interview with my adviser during the first day of enrollment, she asked: why did you choose HRM? Well, all I said was “it is fun”. For further explanation, I took this course because I know it will take me somewhere. And sure it did.

Aside from all the food we will be preparing, I also love the travels. And just in a span of three semesters, I have been to a lot of places because of school. The furthest and the most memorable, yet, was just this summer.

Because we had our housekeeping subject last semester and It requires us to have our OJT, we went with an onboard training with 2GO ships. The trip has a lot of first time.

It was my first time to ride a ship. It was also my first time to go out of Mindanao. How unbelievable was that? LOL. After our on board training, we then went to Manila and boy was it a dream come true.

The feeling was just over the top. Coming a place where super tall buildings are not so common, I was really fascinated by the height of the buildings there.

 we arrived in Manila around 8:30 pm. I am both tired and excited!

The next  morning we went to the Luneta Park. It was really Clean and Beautiful.

Of course why leave such a Beautiful park without some (amateur) blogger poses. LOL

on our way to our seminar in MIHCA i saw CCP. it was another dream come true!

i also saw the Manila Bay Yacht Club, it was super cool!

After a whole day of seminars,what better way to end it by shopping at The SM Mall of Asia! It was really uber huge! and the sunset was breathtaking.

Also a highlight of our trip here in Manila was the Enchanted Kingdom. it was super fun and as you have noticed, i wore two different set of clothes because in the middle of the fun and all, it rained super hard and instead of just staying inside the covered court, we decided to play in the rain and we really enjoyed it!

This trip had a lot of first time. hopefully, this trip would not be my last. Really cant wait to visit Manila again soon!

READY, SET, GO

This is it guys! My very FIRST blog post (well i posted somethings here but it was as a school requirement). I have been wanting to have my very own website and in this case BLOG site. Hopefully it will be a start of something amazing and probably productive thing.

Love and Like and everything in between was my description because all the things i will post here will be of my interests,loves , likes(or sometimes dislikes) and a lot more. Things (or people or events)that can make my fingers grab my keyboard and start writing!
