lakewood escapade

and at long last, i'm back. it has been a while since my last post. well, its my first and last post before enrollment starts for the second semester. and i really cant believe i passed all the subjects i enrolled in for the first semester.

now on to my post. our family had a short escapade at Alindahaw Lakeview Resort just a 2-hour drive from our house. this trip was planned May last year and because of unavoidable events it got postponed. this trip was also somehow a celebration for cousin who took the CPA-board exam. Enjoy!

Culinary Arts Finals

All must come to an end.  I am both happy and sad. Happy to take a break from school and all the pressure and sad because culinary arts is one of my favorite major subjects and we just had our culmination.

Enough with all the drama and time for some photos.

well, you might not get it but our theme was Italy. that's what this mustache is about and of course the pizza and the flags. this end is the new start of something amazing.

it's easy

my mom is really a good baker (not to brag) and i think thats where my love for pastries came from. however, the thought of baking cakes is kinda tiring. that all changed when we had our Culinary Arts yesterday and we did baking. i was so shocked that it was really easy. all you need is the right tools and ingredients. also dont forget to bake with TENDER LOVING CARE. LOL. we made butter cake and chiffon cake!!

yesterday we had our culinary arts laboratory and we cooked the winning recipe, the fish kare-kare and leche flan.

Artistic Cooking

last week we had our culinary arts laboratory. this time we cooked Chicken Cordon Blue, Dessert Crepe and Celery Soup. it was the longest laboratory we have conducted. however, we learned a lot.thanks to our ever lovely teacher ma'am Angel!
